The prospect of a second recall campaign for Sam Adams has the business community split.
While many business owners say they would back Portland Mayor Sam Adams if a recall were forced onto the ballot, others like Columbia Sportswear head Tim Boyle have voiced support for the recall.
Developer John Russell says he would contribute to a campaign in support of Adams, and believes others in the business community would, too.
“Sam has been a good mayor,” says Russell, who describes the threatened recall as “another needless distraction we don’t need.”
