Oregon and Portland-area foreclosures have stabilized after a volatile 2011 when the monthly metro filings ranged from 1,100 to 2,000.

Oregon and Portland-area foreclosures have stabilized after a volatile 2011 when the monthly metro filings ranged from 1,100 to 2,000.

Since February, the number of monthly Portland-area filings has hovered between 1,000 and 1,300.

Statewide, foreclosure filings have declined 38 percent in June from a year ago and 11 percent compared with May. However, filings rose 3.8 percent over the three-month period ending in June compared with the three months prior.
