Oregon breweries increased production by 7.5% in 2011, making 1,168,000 barrels of beer.

Retail sales of Oregon-made beer sold in the state totaled about $270 million in 2011.

Moreover, the state’s brewing companies added more than 600 jobs in 2011 and directly employed more than 5,500 people, the [Oregon Brewers Guild] said.
