Bloomberg BusinessWeek picks the 25 top for-profit social enterprises.
Earlier this year, BBW asked readers to tell them about entrepreneurs building promising businesses that tackle social ills. Over the past few months, they narrowed the more than 300 suggestions received to 25 for-profit social enterprises. Among the criteria: scope, impact, and the ability to sustain themselves. They will announce the top five on July 19.
