BoltBus will make its West Coast debut May 17 with four daily trips between Portland and Seattle.

 

Owned by Greyhound but operated as a separate division, BoltBus has been running in the Northeast between Boston and Washington since 2008. Coaches have leather seats, more legroom than Greyhound buses, panorama windows, wi-fi service and electrical connections. 

“We operate more like an airline by taking reservations, boarding by group numbers and having a loyalty program,” said David Hall,  general manager.
