Twenty years ago Oregon hosted 10 farmers markets, a number which today has grown to 118.

Farmers markets help connect people with healthy, locally grown and produced food. They also serve as an “incubator” for businesses.

In its 12th season, the Astoria Sunday Market is one of the largest farmers markets in the state with 130-150 vendors every week.
