Learning.com CEO steps down

Learning.com co-founder Bill Kelly stepped down as CEO to pursue other entrepreneurial interests.

Portland-based Learning.com provides teaching tools online. The privately held company has 92 employees.

Learning.com said that Kelly remains a major shareholder and will remain an adviser to the company, which appointed chief operating officer Candace Petersen to serve as interim CEO. Learning.com said it will conduct a national search for Kelly’s replacement.
