“We still have a lot of work to do to get Oregonians back to work, and I think the real emphasis over the next six months running up to the 2013 session will be on the economy and creating family-wage jobs,” Gov. John Kitzhaber said Tuesday during a press conference.
One issue the governor said lawmakers will continue discussions on in 2013 is reviewing the state’s tax system, which has included kicker reform and lowering the capital-gains tax.
