Three Oregon universities won a $3.5 million federal grant to work with the University of Utah on sustainable transportation.

Three Oregon universities won a $3.5 million federal grant to work with the University of Utah on sustainable transportation.

The Oregon Transportation Research and Education Consortium, a transportation center based at Portland State University, will administer the grant. The consortium includes PSU, the University of Oregon and the Oregon Institute of Technology.

PSU President Wim Wiewel said the grant “has helped solidify Portland State’s status as an elite transportation research institution and boosted our international reputation for leadership in sustainability.”
