Box stores are booming all around Coos County, but have largely ignored the county itself.
While towns like Warrenton are seeing a big growth in national retailers like Home Depot and Walgreens, residents in nearby Coos County have yet to experience a similar boom.

Coos County meanwhile, has a population nearly twice the size of Clatsop’s. And our retailers draw customers from the California border to Florence. So a lot of Coos County residents want to know: Where’s our Costco?
