The Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (MBA YLS) is adopting the American Bar Association’s Wills for Heroes program.
On October 4th, the MBA YLS will provide Oregon’s first responders, including Police Officers, Fire Fighters, EMTs and Search & Rescue team members, with four FREE essential legal documents:
1. Simple Will
2. Power of Attorney
3. Advance Directive
4. HIPAA Release

The Wills for Heroes Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit that supports this program, giving back to the community and “protecting those who protect us.” Since November 2001, the Wills for Heroes program has provided more than 7,000 estate planning documents nationwide. This will be Oregon’s first partnership with the well-established
program.
