More than 400 “Change Makers” will gather to invest in a socially sustainable community.

The 7th annual GoGreen Portland conference will take place October 16, created in partnership with the City of Portland, Multnomah County and METRO. With regionally curated content showcasing inspiring community speakers and business leaders, the GoGreen Conference empowers attendees with the right tools and strategies to not only improve their own organizations and businesses but also their communities. Building resilient, profitable and sustainable organizations is the key to the success of our cities and regions. 

WHAT: The GoGreen Conference is a sustainable learning experience with a mission to to empower attendees with the strategies, tools and connections to green their organizations with profitability in mind. Through hands-on workshops, big picture plenaries and inspiring keynote speakers, attendees will walk away with an extended network and new sustainable long-term growth strategies to fuel their organization into the next year.

WHO: The GoGreen Conference hosts business, public sector and community decision-makers, facilitating peer-to-peer learning and solutions to today’s global economy and climate woes.

WHY: To ensure our region’s economic resilience we must invest in a socially sustainable community — one that offers equity, diversity and growth to advance today’s community members and creates opportunities for tomorrow’s generation.

Two days of special events have been added to the lineup and will take placeOctober 15 and 17.

October 15: Stadium Tours at Providence Park, home of the Portland Timbers, 1 & 2 p.m. and EPA Executive Forum, Awards* and Reception at Providence Park, 3-7 p.m.
*Portland State University, Doubletree Portland Hotel and New Seasons Market will receive awards at the Forum for their participation in the EPA Food Recovery Challenge.

October 17: GRI Certification Course, University of Oregon White Stag Building, 9-5 p.m.
