Portland, OR – The 19th annual 100 Best Companies to Work For in Oregon list is complete and the winners will be announced at the awards dinner on March 1, 2012, at the Oregon Convention Center. A total of 263 companies participated in this year’s 100 Best survey, which analyzes Oregon companies’ best practices toward creating great places to work. This year, more than 14,000 Oregon employees completed the survey.
The 100 Best list recognizes large, medium and small companies for excellence in work environment, management and communications, decision-making and trust, career development and learning, and benefits and compensation. The winners will be revealed at the 100 Best awards dinner on March 1 and published in the March 2012 issue of Oregon Business.
“The 100 Best project has been identifying great workplaces for almost two decades,” says Oregon Business Editor Robin Doussard. “It is truly one of the most meaningful awards a company can receive because it is the employees who decide those great workplaces.”
Any individual or company may attend the celebration. Register now for the event, which starts at 5 p.m. in the Portland Ballroom on March 1.
Oregon Business has conducted the annual study of best practices for the past 19 years. The survey has two parts — a satisfaction survey completed by employees and a benefits survey completed by management. Rankings are derived from scores of both parts of the survey.
