More than 150 companies joined the Coalition for American Solar Manufacturering, calling for government intervention against Chinese solar manufacturers.

The announcement comes more than a month after Hillsboro-based solar panel-maker SolarWorld initiated a trade complaint against China and at the same time that China’s Commerce Ministry announced it would launch its own investigation into U.S. renewable energy policy.

The coalition’s new members include a range of solar project developers, electricians and similar organizations.
