Pendleton Woolen Mill’s new Portland Collection uses domestically sourced wool woven in the Northwest, to cash in on the current trend of eco-conscious fashion.

The new line… was conceived of by a trio of young Portland-based designers who took the aesthetic of classic Pendleton designs and translated them for a younger audience.

“We really are targeting a certain aesthetic with a younger, contemporary consumer and we felt that ‘Made in the USA’ would be considered value added,” [head of Pendleton’s home division Robert Christnacht] said.
