The Portland-area workers are key players in the long-delayed global venture to produce the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Precision Castparts Corp., the company casting the engine parts, is catching an especially good ride on the Dreamliner as the manufacturing project showers business on Oregon, pushing companies to innovate.
