City Council will meet Monday to discuss code changes that would legally permit ride-sharing services in Springfield.
No action will be taken at Monday’s Springfield council meeting. Assistant City Attorney Kristina Kraaz will brief councilors on the proposed regulations, setting up the rule changes for a possible vote at a future meeting.
The proposed changes would add transportation network companies to the list of entities licensed to operate vehicles for rides in Springfield.
