Gresham’s popular Third Thursday event attracts people to Main Avenue shops to enjoy music, wine and art.

This month, the events will be held in vacant storefronts rather than existing shops, to bring attention to the available space.

Not only will city staff be on hand to talk about the programs, but a representative of the Mt. Hood Community College’s Small Business Development Center will be there providing information on its programs. Also, real estate agents and property owners will be there to talk about the process of leasing the spaces.

Megan Braunsten, executive director of the GDDA, said the event will provide a comfortable setting for those looking to start a business to learn about the process and the amenities the city has to offer.
