Stone Wolf Vineyards of McMinnville has been acquired by a Denver-based producer and distributor.

Integrated Beverage Group is adding an Oregon winery to its holdings that include vineyards in Italy and California.

“With this acquisition, Integrated Beverage Group furthers our mission to help retailers grow their businesses profitably,” IRG President Ari Walker said in a news release. “This partnership will also significantly help to expand Rascal’s reach in the marketplace.”

Stone Wolf’s Rascal Pinot Noir is distributed in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Ohio, Tennessee, Colorado and around the New York region. In 2013 it was the fifth best-selling Oregon pinot noir nationally and the top-selling Oregon pinot noir in Oregon, according to data provided by IBG. The company said it did not have more current data. According to data from the Oregon Liquor Control Commission, Stone Wolf ranks 21st among Oregon wineries in terms of gallons sold in Oregon through September this year.
