WHAT: Light up downtown Eugene with a festive event to kick off the holiday season

WHERE: East Park Blocks – Urban Plaza (8th Ave. and Oak St. Eugene, OR 97401)
MORE DETAILS: Holiday fun for all! Mayor Kitty Piercy and the UO Duck will conduct a tree lighting ceremony. Live musical entertainment will be provided by the Sheldon High Dublinaires, UO’s Mind the Gap, Eugene Concert Choir and Elvis. Hot cider and popcorn will be available for all. The Eugene Symphony will provide an “instrument petting zoo”, and little dancers from Eugene Ballet Company will be in attendance to twirl and delight. The UO’s Cheer Squad will be in the audience to mingle and add to the festivities. All of this leads up to the Ducks game against USC Trojans on Saturday 11/21.
