The city has invested $250 million in infrastructure projects.

The projects differ in size and scope, with two of the largest on opposite ends of the city’s water system. In the foothills of the Cascades, a new plant is being built to clean water for drinking, while out past city limits to the east, an expansion is in progress at Bend’s sewer treatment plant. Between the two, a number of projects are underway to build new sewer lines and roads and make the city more accessible.
