Deschutes Co. plans to review its solar farms after complaints from neighbors.
The issue at stake regards the permits given to farms to create energy in a farm-use only zone.
Opponents worry the 20-megawatt facility with thousands of solar panels would change the landscape and give it a more industrial feel as opposed to the surrounding agricultural land.
The two solar panel installations would occupy about 70 acres. The solar development companies plan to provide enough power to support the energy needs of up to 2,500 homes per year.

The case should be decided by the middle of November.
