The restaurateur who was kicked out of her last site after a dispute with her landlord has announced a new location for Besaw’s in NW Portland.

The new spot will be at the corner of NW 21st and Raleigh.

[Owner Cana] Flug worked with Urban Works Real Estate, Meriwether Group, Cairn Pacific and Capstone Partners on finding a new home for the restaurant.

That includes chef Michael Uhnak bringing back some of Besaw’s favorites while also creating signature new offerings. The new location will also have an outdoor patio and a custom-built brick oven.

“It is foremost in our intention to be both reverential to our storied past, yet ambitious in our reach toward the future,” Flug said in a news release. “We’ve made every effort to preserve the heart and soul of Besaw’s, to create a gathering place that will feed Portlanders for another 112 years.”
