RAIN Eugene accelerator chooses new class


Seven new companies to embark on 12-week incubator program.

Seven new companies have been chosen to embark on a 12-week incubator program.

The RAIN Eugene business accelerator will launch its third year with the new class.

The companies to make the cut:

  1. BASE
  2. Bike Friday
  3. Bull & Stash
  4. Klubhub
  5. Lola’s Fruit Shrubs
  6. Lumidax Electronics
  7. Player 1 Furniture

Only two are software companies:

Bike Friday makes high-quality, custom-built bicycles that fold in seconds and pack into an airline checkable suitcase for easy transport. Founders are Alan Scholz and Hanz Scholz. Alan’s daughter, Hanna Scholz, is a second generation founder and will participate in the accelerator.

KlubHub is a mobile loyalty and marketing platform designed to connect communities with the small businesses and events in their area. For Android and iPhone users, it is available to any community in the U.S. and the small businesses that serve those communities. Founders are Sam Gross, Vikram Kondur, and Sharath Acharya
