OREGONLIVE.COM: Fans of the Northwest’s Major League Soccer teams can now buy special shoes made by Adidas.
The shoes are available for purchase now, but Adidas will celebrate the release of the shoes this week with an event on Thursday, August 27th at BAIT Seattle and another celebration on Friday, August 28th at BAIT Portland. Both events will feature music and meet-and-greets with players.
The Timbers-themed pair is green with three stripes of lighter green and a brown, wood-like zig zag mid sole. The shoe features the Timbers crest and the letters “RCTID,” which stand for Rose City ‘Til I Die.
