How do you engage employees and management in sustainability initiatives? What are the latest trends in energy conservation? Where do you locate the office compost bin? Oregon Business is excited to present a “Greening Your Workplace” seminar May 28th, 2014 at the Nines Hotel in Portland. The dynamic two-hour event explores best practices in sustainable workplaces.
We kick off the proceedings with a panel of experts reviewing challenges, strategies and metrics of success involved with going green. Learn how to save resources, improve reuse of supplies and equipment, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build community support for your work.
During the second hour, participants will break down into small groups, sharing stories, ideas and innovations with like-minded individuals working in a variety of business sectors. Participants will leave energized and inspired, and with new tools to help create healthier and more sustainable work environments.
