United glitch causes nationwide delays

OREGONLIVE.COM: The FAA grounded all of United Airlines’ flights this morning after a computer glitch.

There are 42 United flights scheduled to arrive or depart from the Portland airport on Wednesday. An airport spokesman said the airline’s issues caused a backup of passengers in the airport’s terminals.

It is the second time in two months that the carrier has been hit by major technical issues.
