Google: We created $939M in Oregon economic activity last year

PORTLAND BUSINESS JOURNAL: Google is taking credit for $939 million in Oregon economic activity in 2014.

The report, released Wednesday morning, looks at Google’s impact on e-commerce for businesses and nonprofits.
In Oregon, 39,000 businesses and nonprofits benefited from Google’s advertising and other tools. Additionally, 136 nonprofits received $2.6 million in free advertising through the company’s Ad Grants program.
