BLOOMBERG: The price of Brent crude advanced climbed to 3.8 percent at times.

“More attacks on Libyan fields and headlines around Iran suggesting a deal is not imminent” have buoyed prices, Amrita Sen, chief oil analyst at London-based consultants Energy Aspects Ltd., said by e-mail. Brent is also rebounding from Monday’s sharp selloff, she said.

Brent for April settlement rose as much as $2.24 to $61.78 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. The contract fell $3.04, or 4.9 percent, to $59.54 on Monday. The European benchmark crude was at a premium of $10.83 to West Texas Intermediate.
