WSJ: Lower gas prices are boosting household spending at restaurants and other stores.

Retail and food-services sales rose 0.3% from the prior month to a seasonally adjusted $444.49 billion in October, the Commerce Department said Friday. Sales had dropped 0.3% in September, which was unrevised from an earlier estimate.
