PHILLY.COM: Former U of O coach Chip Kelly has been settling into his new job at the Philadelphia Eagles, but the big news is that occasionally controversial quarterback Michael Vick might be sticking around.

Kelly must like what he sees in Vick, and can imagine Vick in his unique style of play. Taking what is essentially a paycut, Vick is now reported to be rewarded more on an incentive system.

Chip Kelly held the news conference Monday he’d long promised, introducing his new staff, but the new Eagles coach managed to shove that news into the background, when a few hours before, the team announced it had reworked Vick’s long-term contract into a 1-year deal worth as much as $10 million, including incentives.
