USA Today: Twitter launched a video service called Vine that lets users share video clips on their feed.
Vine is available as a free app on the iOS App Store. A blog post from Twitter announcing the service says they are working to bring the app to other mobile platforms.
Users film looping videos lasting no longer than 6 seconds, then share them on Twitter and Facebook. Users can also search for videos in Vine based on certain hashtags or subjects.
