Portland-based pizza company wants to expand delivery footprint.

Popular Portland pizza company Sizzle Pie wants to expand its delivery footprint by opening a restaurant in NE Portland.
The company will share a dining room at 1813 NE Second Ave., with Pine State Biscuits, the Portland Business Journal reports.
“Currently our delivery operations are home in our west side location,” director of operations Bob Peyton wrote to the PBJ. “Expanding to off-Broadway will help hone our skills in giving faster, better and potentially a greater delivery footprint in Portland.”
Sizzle Pie plans on hiring 30 people to work as drivers, cooks and service employees.
Collaborating with Pine State Biscuits “could potentially lead to future collaborations,” the PBJ reported.
