Brammo will focus on developing drive trains and batteries after selling its motorcycle division.

Originally reported on OregonLive.com, the Southern Oregon company chose Polaris because of the Minnesota company’s early backing of Brammo technology.

Last March, the company that makes all-terrain vehicles and other sport vehicles invested $9.5 million in Brammo to help with operating costs. Bramscher indicated he had his eyes set on taking the company public.
