The Startup Chronicle is setting up shop throughout the Northwest, a NY tech firm is coming to Eugene, and a Bend entrepreneur will be on Shark Tank.

Thubton Comerford wants to bring his program to 40 cities, but will start with Portland, Seattle, Boise and Spokane.

The team plans to spend five days in each city steering entrepreneurs through the program. At the end, the entrepreneurs involved will have a honed story, training and some video content. The program also involves leaving behind a “city editor” who will continue to collect videos with entrepreneurs in that city. Those videos and any accompanying blog posts would be posted on the Startup Chronicle website.

Comerford is targeting existing accelerators and other startup groups in cities as clients. It would be up to those groups to wrangle entrepreneurs to participate, and pay the $25,000 program fee, or come up with local underwriters.
