“What I’m working to do is design an experience, different from other airlines, that’s Salem-focused,” Rust said. “I want to be the best airline around. I want the bigger airlines to look at what I’m creating and say, ‘That’s a really neat service that they offer.’ It’s great to be big, but there’s something really special about being small but better.”
