A Maryland affiliate of LaSalle Hotel Properties has reportedly purchased the downtown Portland holding.
Some of the Heathman’s staff are leaving the hotel, including its longtime general manager, Chris Erickson. An automatic email reply from Erickson said he was no longer working at the Heathman.
Jeff Miller, the president of Travel Portland, said Erickson had told him he was leaving the Heathman along with several of his staff. Erickson is a member of the Travel Portland board of directors.
