Consumers may have to wait for an act of Congress to be allowed to easily procure Cuba’s famous cigars and rum.

Ryan Frank, spokesman for Business Oregon, said the details have not been worked out, but Oregon does have an established market in the Caribbean.

Its largest exports to that region include wine, craft beer, blueberries, apples, pears, cherries, natural beef and some seafood, he said.
