University of Oregon’s success on the field has translated lucratively for clothing makers, retailers.

“This is really the most excitement we’ve seen since the last Rose Bowl,” said Tyler Norman, president of McKenzie SewOn, which designs and prints shirts, jerseys and other items from its Springfield design studio.

McKenzie SewOn’s sales are already up 10 percent to 15 percent from last year, driven partly by the team’s performance but also by an uptick in non-university business.
