Bill Wyatt said he’d like to retire around the time he turns 67, which is in two years.

The port began the long process of transitioning to a new director earlier this year when it hired Curtis Robinhold, formerly chief of staff to Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber, to serve as deputy executive director.

Robinhold has already assumed responsibility for several key port initiatives, including public affairs, financial management and the Lower Willamette Group, which oversees Portland Harbor Superfund activities.
