Customers of Northwest Natural Gas Co., which serves customers in northwest Oregon, will go up by 3.4 percent overall, including a 2 percent increase for residential customers, a 4.5 percent increase for commercial customers and a 10.4 percent increase for industrial customers.
Customers of Cascade Natural Gas, which serves central Oregon, will see a smaller increase, a little less than 1 percent overall. Residential customers will see a rate increase of 0.8 percent, pushing the monthly bill of a typical customer using 54 therms per month from $51.61 to $51.99. Commercial customers will see a 0.3 percent increase and industrial customers a 3.7 percent increase.
