The Port of Vancouver will sell 9.6 acres of port-owned property to steel manufacturer Maruichi Northwest.

Maruichi Northwest, a subsidiary of Maruichi American Corp., will invest $30 million to construct a plant in the Port’s Centennial Industrial Park, a light-industrial site in southwest Clark County.

The plant will initially employ 20 to 25 workers to manufacture structural and ornamental steel components.
