It was a hard-earned victory for the ranch, located between Shaniko and Maupin. Ranch co-owner Jeanne Carver (husband Dan primarily oversees cattle and other operations) has spearheaded efforts to produce U.S.-made clothing.
But building the relationships to gain a toehold for her own ranch in the competitive fashion world has been a slow-going process, Jeanne Carver said.
