“Most of the things we have to show is not just a product but what can happen when we work with a key partner,” Krzanich told the audience of largely developers who build on top of Intel technology. Developer events are the place where companies introduce new tools that others can build on.
He noted the company is on track to hit its goal of shipping 40 million tablet computers this year. Intel was the No. 2 tablet producer and shipper in the world in the second quarter. However, the way the company has gone about this goal has been costly.
