The Port of Morrow joined Ambre Energy to overturn the Department of State Lands’ decision.
The department had denied a removal/fill permit for the Morrow Pacific project last month.
The port joined the suit because it believes the state is interfering with its economic decisions. The Port of Morrow invested $50 million-plus into infrastructure that would back the Port of Morrow East Beach Industrial Park, according to a release.
A new hearing on the matter could take place within 60 days.
