Since starting production on Swan Island in early 2011, Keen has since expanded from making a simple utility boot to manufacturing everything from steel-toe construction boots to casual shoes and sandals. Factory employment is up to 80.
Keen is part of a larger trend of bringing shoe manufacturing back to the United States.
