Eighteen Oregon firms will travel to Germany for the four-day OutDoor Friedrichshafen show.
Business Oregon, a state agency tasked with promoting and attracting businesses through partnerships, is helping cover the travel costs for five of those firms. The agency’s director Sean Robbins said the presence of Oregon-based outdoor companies is no coincidence.
“Oregon has emerged as a global leader in the outdoor gear and apparel industry, in part because we are the place where customers come to play and to push their gear to the limit,” Robbins said in a press release on Wednesday.
