The Wilsonville-based company acquired Nimbic Inc., a company that makes electromagnetic simulation products.

Terms of the acquisition were not released. Nimbic’s main facility isn’t far from Mentor’s own facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area, so integration of the two companies shouldn’t be an issue.

Nimbic accounts for less than 0.5 percent of Mentor’s worldwide headcount Reinhart said. As of Jan. 31, Mentor had 5,220 full time employees, according to its last quarterly report.
