Roger Pollock is released from jail wearing a GPS ankle monitor and holding lengthy “no-contact” list.

U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Paul Papak approved a deal on Monday that allows the indicted Portland-area housing developer out of custody, but only so long as he complies with a list of conditions. Chief among them is that he stay away from witnesses who fear Pollock may do them harm.

A grand jury indicted Pollock on Friday for bank fraud and lying to a bank. The charges stem from a 2008 loan from Banner Bank one of Pollock’s companies secured to build a Lake Oswego office building. He allegedly diverted about $700,000 of the money to other projects.
