The Environmental Protection Agency said it now anticipates completing the proposed cleanup plan in 2015.

The reason for the delay is that the agency is still finalizing two other steps, a remedial investigation and a feasibility study, that need to be completed before the proposed clean-up plan is ready.

The remedial investigation is used to determine the causes of and locations of the site’s contamination. The feasibility study examines what can be done to clean the site.
